Nick Fulton

Principal Architect, LEED AP

Born and raised in Butte, Montana, Nick started his career as a carpenter in 1997, working on a range of projects, from small residential to large commercial. Wanting to combine his construction skills with his artistic abilities, he obtained a Masters of Architecture at Montana State University’s School of Architecture in 2005.

Committed to the mountains and rivers in which he grew up, Nick brought his construction background to bear efficient and practical designs and detailing at Bechtle Architects, sharing in the mission to create evocative environments through the use of materials, light and spatial configurations. A commitment to truly listening to the clients’ wants and needs allows Nick to design spaces that are unique to each project’s site and surroundings. Nick has 14 years experience and is a roofing expert.

An avid outdoorsman, Nick enjoys hunting and fishing with his Labs and camping with his family as many weekends as possible from spring through fall.
