Bridger Bowl engaged Bechtle Architects in the fall of 2019 to expand their existing Ski Patrol Facility to accommodate the needs for the growing ski community in Bozeman, Montana. Completed in December of 2020, the 2,500-square-foot expansion provides additional space for the Ski Patrol group, Eagle Mount programs, and Bridger Ski Foundation programs. The design of the expansion incorporates fire-resistant construction materials and blends with the existing architectural vernacular seen throughout Bridger Bowl. This project is the third project Bechtle Architects has had the pleasure of working on with the amazing Bridger Bowl team.
“Bechtle Architects and their team exceeded our expectations again! We defined a need related to expanded space for our Ski Patrol, the Eagle Mount and the Bridger Ski Foundation programs. Their team was able to create an expansion onto the existing building that not only blended into the existing architecture, but incorporated how to deal with the threat of wildfires by creating a fire hardened exterior to the expansion. Their understanding of our culture and operations at Bridger Bowl makes them a great teammate and we look forward to future projects with their team.”
