Bechtle Architects was contracted to facilitate a full interior remodel of the 213 guest rooms, main entry lobby, terrace level lobby, and restaurant of the Summit Hotel, which is located at the base of Big Sky Ski Resort. Working in partnership with interior design firm The Getty’s Group, Bechtle Architects gave the 12-story building a modern facelift, with updated furniture, finishes, and layouts. The project construction was phased over two years, during the resort’s off seasons.
“The Summit Hotel successfully worked through a massive renovation over the course of about two years — this was much to the credit of Nick Fulton, of Bechtle Architects, in the role of not only Architect of Record (AOR), but project manager as well. Nick was organized and kept the group, including the GC as well as the HOA Board in check. It was a complex project that ended under budget and on time. Nick was an instrumental part of the success of this project.”
