Hope House, a short-term stabilization facility for individuals experiencing mental health related crises, warranted joint efforts and planning from mental health and public safety perspectives to adequately address the needs of suicidal clients. Inclusive of both voluntary and involuntary sides, Hope House was intentionally designed to look and feel like a home to decrease anxiety and support socialization, healing, skill-building and independence.
