The skier services building was designed to be the first of the two projects to kick of the new master plan for Whitefish Mountain Resort. The 50,000-sq. ft. skier services building would house the services to support the first phase of the resort expansion, while the 112,000-sq. ft. lodge would provide lodging, restaurant and retail services to support the second phase. Unfortunately, the economic downturn in the mid-2000s thwarted expansion plans and neither project moved past design.
